Haverhill Borough had to settle for a single point after a tight match against fellow top-six side March.

Borough took the lead five minutes into the second period thanks to Lee Salmons second goal of the season.

March levelled after Ash Brand converted Luke Pepper’s cross on 67.

Dan Woods had two half-chances to win it for March in the final five minutes, but Borough cam even closer in added time when Aaron Forshaw’s shot from six-yards out hit the post and rebounded to safety.

The point keeps Borough in fifth and takes their unbeaten league run to eight matches. March remain in sixth-place.
