Haverhill businessmen get funky for charity
Two well-known Haverhill businessmen have once again come up trumps with the latest in a long line of charity fund-raisers.
Fruit and veg trader Paul Firman and builder Paul Trinder held the latest of their charity gigs earlier this month in front of a sell-out audience at the Haverhill Arts Centre with Funk Odyssey playing live.
The proceeds, which included a bucket collection, amounted to £1,410 and has been donated to Breast Cancer Care, their chosen charity.
Their next event will be on March 5 at the Haverhill Arts Centre with the ska tribute band, BIG 10.
Proceeds will once again go to Breast Cancer Care and tickets are on sale now.
As well donating to Breast Cancer Care, the two Paul’s have given to a number of other charities over the years, including the Befriending Scheme and Help for Heroes, among others.
