Haverhill car fire was arson

A fire that caused £1,500 worth of damage to a Ford Focus in St Botolph’s Way was started deliberately, leading to a police appeal for information.

The car’s tyres were damaged and it was set on fire between 12.30am and 12.50am on February 24.

Firefighters had it under control inside 20 minutes, but an investigation has since revealed the fire was started deliberately.

Anyone with information should call Haverhill Police on 101.
