Haverhill Arts Centre will be hosting a careers fair on Thursday, November 8.

The 'ASPIRE_USP' event is open to parents and Year nine to 13 students who attend Samuel Ward and Castle Manor academies, and takes place from 4pm to 6pm.

Businesses and education providers will be available to offer advice and guidance on careers and pathways to students and also to families.

There will be parent/carer focussed workshops to advise on how best to support your child in fulfilling their aspirations and CVs can be taken along to the fair to be checked over by professionals.

Refreshments and nibbles will be available and the first 150 students through the door will be issued with a goody bag of study materials.

There will also be a prize draw for an iPad during the event, sponsored by Wates Construction.

Kerrie Cavilla Perkins, Associate Leader at Samuel Ward Academy said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to explore the vast array of post 16 /18

options available in our locality.

"An ideal opportunity for you and your child to prepare for this ever-changing world and economy."
