Haverhill’s crafts and gifts market returns on Saturday (19) while regular market traders will also be adding a bit of sparkle.
Youngsters can take part in a Christmas treasure hunt with prizes to be found, while there will also be Christmas music.
Cllr Peter Stevens, St Edmundsbury cabinet member for operations said: “With Christmas just a few days away this is a great opportunity for residents to support our local traders and shop local.
“This is our sixth craft and gifts market for 2015 and they have been very popular.
“We also put out the call via social media to offer the chance for potential businesses to come along and trade for the day.”
Christmas Eve markets are also being held in Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds.
Traders will be out at both markets from 9am, with the Haverhill market closing at 3pm and the Bury market at 3.30pm.
Cllr Stevens added: “Whether it’s the vegetables for your Christmas dinner, or a gift with a difference, visit Haverhill and support our town traders.”
Market day trading resumes in Haverhill on January 9 after the festive break.
