Festival season is here and, from June 12 to July 5, members of the public will have the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy experiences and spectacles from all parts of the cultural spectrum.
People can take in a Sherlock Holmes play in East Town Park, a Nigerian women’s choir and music from a Kinks tribute act, and the Hannah Horton Quartet. There will also be stand up comedy from Charlie Baker and Mark Steel, as well as live broadcasts of Carmen and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. There will also be talks from the Haverhill and District Local History Group and wildlife walks in West Town Park and Millfields Way.
