Staff and clients at 1st Stop Recruitment have collected a bumper amount of donations for Haverhill Foodbank.

This year they collected 102kg but in total over three years they have collected an amazing 361kg.

Henry Wilson, from REACH community projects, said: “This is the third year that 1st Stop Recruitment have supported us and we are so thankful for the enthusiasm and their continued support.

“102kg is a fantastic amount and equates to five small family boxes or 10 single person boxes of food.

“It is still very tough for many people in our community and these donations will go a long way in alleviating the hardship that families face in our locality.”

The food collection was presented to the Foodbank’s Ann Merrigan on Tuesday, December 16 at the agency’s offices in Jubilee Walk after 1st Stop Recruitment put out an appeal to clients and friends for donations.

Among the generous companies who donated were The Design Office, Doxbond and Winplus.

The 1st Stop staff and their families also donated bags full of food.
