Haverhill’s second team beat Ely City III 5-0 on Saturday to confirm the East League Division Four North West (South) title.

Maddie Marriott and Vicky Steed scored in the first half to put Haverhill 2-0 up at the break.

Steed and Marriott each added a second goal in the second period before the coup de grace was added by Annabel Trevillion, who scored her first ever goal for the club when she made it 5-0 near the end.

With just two games to go, Haverhill still have a 100 per cent winning record, having won all of their 20 matches to date.

They also have the best defensive record of all 120 teams in the league, having conceded just five goals so far.
