A sports club for children run a by a Haverhill coaching business is thriving again after returning from a summer break.

The Saturday Morning Sports Club was launched in 2013 by Dellar Sports Coaching (DSC) and was originally based at Castle Manor Academy.

The club moved to Samuel Ward Academy last spring and even though it took a six week break for the summer holidays, the numbers of children attending has stayed high.

DSC founder and owner, Adam Dellar, said: “We’ve got a lot of space up there and lots of different facilities, indoors and outdoors, and a lot of variety of sports so it does appeal to a lot of different children.”

The club- for four to 12-year-olds - meets from 9am to 11am, and includes football, cricket, basketball, dodgeball, tennis, badminton and has a bouncy castle, softplay area and a climbing wall.
