Some of the ONE Haverhill Community Ambassadors got to work at the weekend on tidying up the footpaths around the town’s Castle Playing Fields and rugby club.

The litter pickers, which included the Community Ambassadors co-ordinator Nicole Hulyer, Haverhill’s deputy mayor, Cllr David Roach and staff and students from Castle Manor Academy got to work on Saturday (24) morning, clearing rubbish from the stretch between the entrance to the play area and the entrance to the rugby club’s car park.

The work was done following a request from the Parkway Residents’ Association and resulted in about 20 bags of rubbish being collected.
