Haverhill man arrested in connection with burglary, GBH and assault

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with incidents of aggravated burglary, GBH and assault in Haverhill.

The man, from Haverhill, was arrested on Monday February 15 and taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre,

He was interviewed in connection with an incident at Burton End on Tuesday February 9 where a man was assaulted.

He was also quizzed about an incident at a home in Connaught Road on Wednesday February 10 which is being treated as aggravated burglary, and about a further incident of aggravated burglary at Warren Court on the same day.

He has been bailed to return to police on Friday April 15, pending further enquiries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about any of the incidents to call DC Penny Howell at Suffolk Police by dialling 101 and quoting crime number 16800/16.
