Staff at Dizzy’s Day Nursery in Haverhill last Friday (5) handed over a cheque for £4001 to Team PP, a group raising money for Save Babies Through Screening Foundation UK.

The Hollands Road nursery raised the money at its Christmas Fayre on November 15 in memory of one of the children it used to care for, Phoebe Knibbs.

Phoebe died of the rare and incurable Krabbe Disease in February 2013, aged 21 months and her family was helped by Save Babies.

Phoebe’s grandmother, Ann Naylor, furthest left in the photo, collected the cheque on behalf of Team PP from Dizzy’s staff members, from left, Ashlea Bailey, Abbey Payne and Naomi Bailey.
