Haverhill pre-school suffers at the hands of vandals

The manager of a Haverhill pre-school has been left distressed and angry after a sign outside their premises was vandalised.

Last Thursday (24) morning Elaine McManus arrived at Stepping Stones Under-5s in Chalkstone Way to find the sign that promoted the outstanding report received from Ofsted in July had been cut up and left hanging in pieces.

The sign was put up on the wooden fence alongside the grounds of both the adjacent Coupals Primary Academy and Stepping Stones.

Mrs McManus said she was left ‘very distressed’ by the vandalism, which has been reported to the police. If anyone has any information about it please call Haverhill police on 101.
