St Felix Primary School in Haverhill is holding its first ever pamper night on Thursday, March 19 to raise money for its Home-School Association (HSA) and the school itself.
The HSA Ladies Pamper Evening runs from 6pm to 9pm and is being organised by therapist Yvonne Wilde, owner of Holistic Hands and the mother of two girls that have been or are at the School Lane school, one has just left.
Yvonne will be offering hot stones and Swedish massage and other practitioners will be doing a wide range of other treatments, including Indian head massage, facial reflexology, mini facials and eyebrow reshaping.
“It’s a way of helping ourselves (HSA) and helping the school, which is great,” said Yvonne.
“We are trying to push it as a Mothers Day treat.
“I know it’s going to be a week after Mother’s Day but then the older children can get their mums a ticket because the treatments are going to be no more than £10 each. You can’t get them cheaper than that anywhere else.”
A glass of wine is included in the entry price, which is £3.50 in advance or £4 on the door. Tickets can be brought from Yvonne on 07598047053, from the school on 01440 703775 or from Shani on 07825779720.
