Paul Firman and fellow members from Haverhill Circles Scooter Club organised a charity gig at Haverhill Arts Centre by ska band Big 10 to raise £815 for Breast Cancer Care.

Paul has organised numerous charity gigs at the arts centre over the years, many of them alongside Paul Trinder.

Mr Firman said: “Thanks to the people’s support since we started these charity gigs the town has seen some fantastic bands, the arts centre has taken fantastic money in bar takings and we have raised over £9,000.”

Haverhill Circles is having a ride out from the Rose & Crown in Withersfield Road at 12.09pm on Sunday, April 24 in what will be a memorial for late club member Dean Cork, who died three years ago in a road accident.

The next charity concert organised by Mr Firman takes place on May 7 and will see Chic Le Freak play at the arts centre.
