Haverhill students take up a new overseas challenge
Samuel Ward Academy sixth form students Liam Collis and Denise Crawshaw are on a month’s work experience at a kindergarten in Haverhill’s German twin town of Ehringshausen.
Both students have visited the town three times before on school exchanges and took the new opportunity after it was set up by the school’s head of internationalism, Jan Bergau.
They are staying with the hosts that they have stayed with before.
The link will cement the already close ties between Haverhill and Ehringshausen made through the school’s German exchange and the Haverhill Twin Towns Association.
