A charity is calling for people to help shape its services and see what it has to offer at an event in Haverhill next month.

The Burton Centre, St Nicholas Hospice Care’s outreach centre, in Camps Road, opened seven months ago .

The centre already offers many services, including complementary therapies, dance classes, day therapy and an active Men’s Group.

Now, the hospice wants to develop new services there and expand its existing provision.

It wants Haverhill residents to help, and is inviting them to a Community and Stakeholder Event, with drop-in sessions, on Thursday, February, 19.

Moira Welham, Head of Community Partnership, said: “Anyone who would like to be a part of shaping our services in the future, who might have some time to spare to volunteer for us, or who would simply like to look around the centre to see what we do, is welcome to come and see us on the day.”

Two open-access drop-in sessions will be held on February 19: 11am-2pm and 4-6.30pm, with refreshments provided.

For more information or to register your interest, call the Burton Centre on 01440 848260.
