A fire at a house in Horseheath was tackled by firefighters.

Two crews from Haverhill and a crew from Linton were called to a building fire in Haverhill Road, Horseheath, on December 31 at 12.08pm.

The fire involved an oil tank and the external wall of a house.

Firefighters used hose reels and jets to put the fire out and thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots in the building.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.05pm.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
