Youth sessions being run by Haverhill Cycling Club
An encouraging rise in membership numbers following a relaunch in April has led to youth training sessions being staged by Haverhill Cycling Club.
The rise in interest from local cyclists stemmed from the club’s relaunch ride in April, which featured in the Echo and with the good weather upon us, the various rides the club offers are proving to be very popular with all classes of rider.
The club also held a Second General Meeting on May 14 at Haverhill Fire Station’s community room which was well attended and resulted in lots of member suggestions for future rides.
The club will be holding the Youth Training sessions starting on Saturday, June 9 for five sessions, all between 10am and 11am on Saturday mornings on Castle Manor Academy’s sports fields.
Full details are on the Haverhill Cycling Club website - http://www.haverhillcyclingclub.co.uk - and on the club’s Facebook page.
The website is now up and running and all the different rides and events are listed on it.
There are rides for all categories of rider so cyclists are being encouraged to take a look and go and try out a taster session.
