Jewellery and coins among items stolen in Haverhill house burglary

Thieves made off with a haul of items valued at £2,300 after breaking into a house in Trinity Walk between 1pm and 11.30pm on Friday, September 18.

The intruder went through side gate and smashed the glass in the back door to gain entry.

They ransacked the house and stole items of jewellery, wrist watches, cufflinks, some Churchill commemorative coins and a golfing jacket.

Police in Haverhill would like to speak to two males wearing high visibility vests who were seen in the area that day cold calling properties. They are viewed as potential witnesses.
