Jewellery snatched in Haverhill house burglary

Numerous items of jewellery were stolen during a burglary at a house in Haverhill.

The break-in took place between 3.50pm and 6.15pm on Sunday, February 15, in Jay Close.

A rear kitchen window was smashed to gain entry to the property and the items of jewellery were stolen from inside.

A unique silver charm bracelet, with individual charms on it, was taken, as was a yellow gold bangle, a yellow gold neck chain, a yellow gold man’s wedding ring and dark brown mahogany jewellery box.

Also stolen was a yellow gold ID bracelet engraved with the words ‘faith and trust I bear to you.’

The offender had also filled a large laundry bag with computer games and consoles, but this was left behind in the kitchen.
