Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed of his bag in Haverhill

At around 12.40am on Sunday August 7, the man was walking through St Botolphs Way when his rucksack was pulled off his back.

He fell to the floor but was not injured.

Two figures were seen running away towards Crowland Road.

The victims bag, a blue rucksack, contained an iPhone 5 in a leather case and a small amount of cash.

Witnesses or anybody who saw anything suspicious in the area around this time is asked to call Suffolk Police on 101 reference 37/48828/16.
