Haverhill Learning Centre (part of West Suffolk College) is inviting potential students to visit its new Haverhill premises.

Starting at 10.00am on September 4, members of the public will have an opportunity to drop in to the centre. Centre staff will be on hand to talk people through the courses available.

There will also be a Careers Advisor and a member of the Apprenticeship team. There will be a chance to meet some of the tutors and join in with free taster sessions.

This is the first time in nearly 10 years that there will be an opportunity for adult learners to take an Access to Higher Education course in Haverhill.

Centre coordinator Elaine Simmons said “The new centre offers an ideal environment for anyone wanting to learn and we would love to see anyone who wants to find out more about what’s on offer in the town.

“ We have some new and exciting courses on offer this year and we really feel that there will be something for everyone in the new brochure. Anyone visiting us will be entered in to a free raffle draw with donations going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

“The Open Day will be the perfect opportunity to showcase just what the Centre can offer”
