A new Poundstretcher store opened in Haverhill this week bringing with it 35 new jobs. The new store near to the town’s Arts Centre will offer a range of value products from home furnishings to garden and outdoor accessories plus the retailer’s Pet Hut outlet. Regional manager for Poundstretcher, Andrew Icke, said: “We’re delighted to have opened such a fantastic new store for the people of Haverhill. What’s equally exciting is the team we have in place to serve Haverhill’s customers - we’re extremely pleased to have been able to bring together the kind of staff that are united in putting the customer first.” The store is one of the chain’s 400 outlets across the UK.
