An annual Organ Festival will get underway at St Edmundsbury Cathedral this weekend.
James Thomas, the Cathedral’s director of music, will perform the first recital of the series, which sees well-known organists playing at venues across the country, on Saturday at 5pm.
“Our music programme has gone from strength to strength since the refurbishment of the organ in 2010 and we have an exciting programme planned for this year,” said Mr Thomas.
Works played on the Cathedral’s Harrison and Harrison Organ will include Bach and Franck.
The recital is free to attend.
