A pair of young fund-raisers have so far made £1,305 from a three-mile charity run.

Best friends Archie Cowe and Theo Boxall, both aged nine, completed the circuit in their home village of Kedington on Sunday in the latest fund-raiser for Team PP, which raises money for the Save Babies Through Screening Foundation UK.

Team PP was set up in memory of Kedington toddler Phoebe Knibbs, who died of the rare and incurable Krabbes Disease in February 2013.

Archie’s mum Naomi, who is friends with Phoebe’s mum Hannah, said: “There was a fantastic turn out of supporters, which was very overwhelming.”
