Police appeal after spate of burglaries in Haverhill

Police are appealing for information after a number of burglaries in Haverhill this month.

A silver mountain bike with a red child seat on the back was stolen from a garage in Argyll Court after it was forced open between 5.30pm on December 16 and 1am on December 17.

Another garage was forced open in nearby Bath Court between 7am and 3.30pm on December 17 and a ladies black Rock mountain bike stolen.

A home in Mildenhall Place, Haverhill, was burgled between 7am and 5.15pm on December 17 when items of jewellery, cash and keys were stolen.

Jewellery was also stolen during a break-in at a property in Burton End, Haverhill, between 9.55am and 1.25pm on December 18.

Ten garages were also broken into in Lulworth Drive, Haverhill, between 5pm on Monday (December 28) and 11am on Tuesday (December 29) when fishing equipment and tools were stolen.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in these areas or anyone with information about the burglar or burglars to call Haverhill Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
