Power tools stolen from trio of Haverhill vans in one night

Three Ford Transit vans were broken into on the same night in three different areas of Haverhill and power tools taken on each occasion.

All three thefts took place overnight between Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15.

The side door of a Transit in Burton End was forced open and a Bosch, black and red 240v power drill in a blue box, worth £250, was taken, as was a green Makita cord drill, worth £240, a green Makita 18v drill, worth £180 and a Makita multi-tool and various drill bits, valued at £240.

A Ford Transit was raided in Ovington Place after the side door was forced open and a Makita power drill, angle grinder and two saws were taken. The tools are worth an estimated £600.

The third Transit was broken into by unknown means while parked overnight in Arendene Road and various power drills were removed from inside.

The total value of the tools taken is unknown.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Haverhill Police on 101.
