A quiz night is being held in Great Yeldham to raise money for charities supported by a 13-year-old boy who died suddenly from a brain tumour.
The quiz takes place at the Great Yeldham Reading Rooms on Saturday, January 24 and is in memory of Arran Tosh, who attended Hedingham School and was also a member of the Centre Stage Company in Haverhill.
Thirteen-year-old Arran, from Sudbury, died in June just five days after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, but his death has inspired tens of thousands of pounds in donations to cancer charities.
Arran was a keen fundraiser, and his efforts helped disabled children to visit the south of France and supported Cancer Research UK.
The quiz night will raise money for the The Smile of Arran Trust, which is due to be turned into a registered charity.
The trust is so-called because Arran always wore an infectious smile.
The event starts at 7pm, with eight people to a team and a £4 entry fee per person.
