Having brought in the New Year with the now traditional morning walk from Snailwell, Newmarket Ramblers continue their programme on Sunday (Jan 4) with a ten mile walk in the Balsham area.

The walk starts at the church/playing-field car park at 10am. Further details can be obtained from the leaders, Hilary and Peter on 01440 710919.

The walk on Wednesday morning (Jan 7) covers five-and-a-half-miles and is in the Wandlebury area, meeting near the George public house in Babraham for a 10am start.

Members are asked to park with courtesy in High Street, not in the pub car park, unless giving custom after the walk.

Details of this walk are available from David on 01223 893674.

Members are reminded to make their bookings for the Group’s Sausage Lunch, by January 17, to enable catering arrangements to be finalised and, unseasonal as it might seem, to give some thought as to how they can contribute towards the Group’s Summer Programme.
