Haverhill firm teams up with Kedington Royal British Legion to help it raise it money

A computer technology recycling business is teaming up with the Kedington branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) to hold a fund-raising recycling event on Saturday.

Recycle Your Tec, which does WEEE Recycling and is based in Hollands Road, Haverhill, will be taking people’s unwanted items of computer equipment during the drop-in session at the British Legion Hall, in Haverhill Road, Kedington, from 10am to 3pm.

The business’s owner, Sam McNally, has worked with the branch’s chairman Kirk Pearson to organise the event.

Unwanted PCs, tablets, laptops, cables, chargers and mobile phones can be dropped off. They are then data-wiped by Sam’s firm and passed on to be sold through Nicom IT Services in Haverhill, with half of the proceeds given to the RBL branch.

Sam said: “It’s a quick way to get quick money and give it to the British Legion.”
