Minor levels of disruption are expected when renovation work starts at Haverhill Library on Monday (March 30) to create a new meeting room space.
The work is restricted to a space outside the public area and will not have a significant impact on customers or access to the library, explained a spokesman for Suffolk Libraries.
Some building noise may be audible to visitors to the building within the first few days of the work and Suffolk Libraries apologises for any inconvenience, added the spokesman.
The work at the library in Camps Road will last around three weeks.
Once completed it will create a new meeting space which organisations and individuals can book.
If you are interested in using the meeting space please contact the library on 01440 702638.
