The longest running recruitment consultancy in Haverhill has struck a new deal that will see its temporary workers receive cashback rewards and exclusive discounts online and on the high street.

1st Stop Recruitment, in Jubilee Walk, has partnered up with Ipswich company Remus Rewards.

The arrangement means 1st Stop’s temporary workforce will become eligible for discounted leisure and entertainment, cashback in the high street and beyond.

Lesley Whiting, founder and director of 1st Stop Recruitment, which is now in its 17th year, said: "Like many industries, recruitment is a changing market and you have to keep up.

"I believe this will give 1st Stop Recruitment the cutting edge.

"We highly value our temporary workers and want to show them we value their services.

"The rewards scheme is a fantastic way to reward their loyalty and hard work."

Chris Chambers, managing director at Remus Rewards, added: “We recognise how important the temporary labour market is to the UK economy.

"With that in mind we have developed a range of perks and benefits targeted to that market.

"Historically, such benefits have only been enjoyed by employees working full-time, but it is important that those in the temporary labour market feel valued too.”

The rewards scheme, named 1st Stop Recruitment Rewards, offers temporary workers discounts on all kinds of products from cinema tickets, to cashback on the high street to money off your online shop.

The scheme is set to begin running from August 1.

Lesley has worked in the recruitment industry for 30 years and is the Regional Director for The Employment Agency Movement (TEAM), linking recruitment agencies across 700 locations to collaborate together.
