Scooter enthusiasts from Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire paid their respects to a late fellow scooter lover during a mass ride out that started in Haverhill on Sunday.

Sixty five vintage scooters, including many from the Haverhill Circles Scooter Club, met at the Rose & Crown in Withersfield Road before setting off for Cambridge.

En route they stopped and laid flowers at the crossroads between Withersfield and West Wratting where Haverhill man Dean Cork, 47, was killed on April 23, 2013 when his Piaggio T5 collided with a Vauxhall Combo van.

The numbers were swelled to over 350 as the riders met in Cambridge to celebrate St George’s Day.
