Silver accreditation for Haverhill business

A Haverhill business are celebrating after gaining Silver accreditation for Investors in People (IIP).

Fiscale Ltd, based at Rookwood Way in the town, have achieved the required framework for the award which focused on the leading, supporting and improving performance areas.

Fiscale HR manager Lucie Mayhew-Smith, who co-ordinated the Investors in People project, said: “The whole team is absolutely delighted to have been awarded the Investors in People Silver accreditation.

“The process has taken around nine months to complete. During that time we have held regular meetings and run interactive workshops involving all members of the team.

“Their input and commitment has been the key to our success. They were enthusiastic and receptive to any ideas put forward and brought their own initiatives to the table.”

The specialist tax advisory company have experienced rapid growth and success in a relatively short space of time.

The company began trading in February 2014 with just the two founders, John Mayhew and Stephen Bunting.

Within six months they had recruited their first claims administrator, Madeline O’Mahoney.

The company now has a 14-strong team with plans to recruit an additional three staff early next year.
