Linton Children's Book Festival offers up literary inspiration

Blue skies provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate “Earth Stories” at the two-day Linton Children’s Book Festival at Linton Village College.

The weekend of free events featured talks and workshops from leading children’s authors, as well as storytelling and craft activities.

Highlights included Joshua Seigal’s high energy poetry, Dave Cousins’ “quick on the draw” cartooning workshop and Joseph Coelho’s talk for younger book fans.

Writer Helen Moss teamed up for the first time for a presentation with her illustrator Leo Hartas.
