Sponsors sought to help Haverhill in Bloom

The charity behind many of Haverhill’s public floral displays is asking businesses and traders to help ensure its work can be continued and enhanced.

Haverhill in Bloom has written to many of the town’s businesses to ask if they would be prepared to provide sponsorship or simply a donation towards its ongoing work.

The letter, which was drawn up by its committee, said: “We are looking for sponsorships or donations from local traders and businesses to enable us to maintain and expand the number of baskets and planters in the future to further improve the town for its traders and inhabitants and to help make the town a nice place to visit.”

A sponsorship/donation would be recognised on the planters and local advertising media, as well as on the charity’s website - www.haverhillinbloom.org.uk - and its Facebook page (Haverhill in Bloom).

Flower baskets and planters are funded and maintained by the charity’s volunteers in various places in Haverhill, including the High Street, Tesco roundabout and along the railings beside the Stour Brook.
