Sporting prowess on show at Kedington meadow




The Kedington Meadowlark Children’s Duathlon takes place between 2pm and 4.30/5pm on Sunday on the Great Meadow, Kedington Community Centre, in Arms Lane.

So far 77 children aged between five and 14 have registered to take part and will do 1/2/3 laps of the meadow on their bikes, followed by 1/2/3 laps running. The number of laps depends on their age.

Aerocycles of Haverhill have donated medals for the participants, and Tesco the drinks and biscuits.

Mandy Bunn,who has just qualified for the GB Duathlon team for next year will be starting the races, and handing out the medals along with Miss Meadowlark, Ella Ketteridge, and her attendees. There are also cream teas available.
