A specially designed session aimed at helping new tablet users get the most from their gadgets proved such a success in Haverhill last year that it is being held again on January 31.

Students will learn how to set up their phone or tablet adding contacts, setting up an address book; sending and receiving emails and using the web browser. The course also covers making the most of the features on the device including the camera and GPS facility, using the Maps application and discovering your location. Setting up a calendar, setting up and finding available Wi-Fi networks and connecting to and using the Internet; plus much, much more

The gentle pace and social nature of this course proved to be a big hit with the students last year and the small numbers in the group meant the tutor could give the students lots of help and advice to ensure that they got the very best from their day. All the students agreed that they had learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
