Photo shows the class of 1965 at Haverhill County Primary School - but where are they all today?

This photo has been shared with the Echo by long-time reader and former Haverhill resident Brendon Walker, who now resides in Norfolk.

It shows a then 11-year-old Brendon, second from right in the back row, next to his class teacher Raymond Daynes and the rest of the pupils that made up Class 4A at Haverhill County Primary School.

The year of the photo was1965 and it was the year in which Brendon started his part-time job at Joseph Curtis’ butchers shop in Queen Street, Haverhill.

Having sent us the photo, Brendon posed the question: “I wonder where they all are now? We were born right in the middle of the baby boomers generation so we have our small recognition in the history books.

“Also we should all retire this year so it is of double significance to be highlighted about now.”
