Thieves ransack Haverhill home overnight

An Acer tablet computer with a broken screen, a silver and black digital camera, a pouch of tobacco and two phone chargers were stolen after thieves broke into a home in Haverhill.

The burglar or burglars appear to have got into the property at Pipers Close via an open window between 2am and 5.40am yesterday, Sunday May 31, and made a search before taking the items.

Police investigating the incident are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area in the early hours or anyone with information about who took the items or where they are now to call PC Kirit Shah at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime number HH/15/1305.
