A major insurance company is teaming up with West Suffolk College to take on 30 Apprentices in Ipswich for the first time.
The Direct Line Group wants 30 apprentices to work in customer services on a two-year programme which will give them practical job experience as well as qualifications.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for local people to secure a position in one of the leading UK insurance companies and develop their career in the sector.”
The new posts, advertised in blocks of ten, will be customer facing and phone based at the Princes Street offices.
Sarah McNair, recruitment marketing consultant for the Direct Line Group explained; “We want to make insurance easier and better value for customers and we are looking for people with a passion for customer service who can go the extra mile.
“This is the first year we have done this for Customer Service roles. It’s a fantastic organisation.”
