More than 20 volunteers turned out to clear Withersfield’s verges, hedges and open spaces of litter and discarded items for its annual Spring clean.
The volunteers went out for two hours on Saturday with their plastic bags, gloves and pickers collecting detritus.
They went along Skippers Lane, past the White Horse pub and church, on to J Bradnam & Sons and all the way to Paradise Farm as they took in all the main roads within the parish boundary.
Withersfield Parish Council clerk, Terri Hardy, said: “It was a really good turn out. We collected a lot of litter.”
