Woman taken to hospital after car lands on roof in ditch

A woman was taken to hospital after a car landed on its roof in a ditch near Great Wratting.

The woman, aged in hers 20s, is not believed to have suffered serious injuries in the incident involving a Vauxhall Astra on the B1061 at 7.53am today.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle to help and the woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said recovery of the vehicle is being arranged.
