Comer is the new boss of Rovers U21s next season

Haverhill Rovers have announced the appointment of Jamie Comer as the new manager of their Under-21 team for next season.

The former youth team coach at Cambridge United and West Wratting has overseen the development of young players from the grassroots game into the professional club environment.

Comer will be working closely with the club’s recently-appointed first-team manager Ben Cowling over the coming months, in order to help the younger players make the step up into senior football.

Rovers have also confirmed their first team’s pre-season friendlies.

Due to the work on the installation of a 3G pitch at The New Croft site, all of their friendlies will be played away from home.

Rovers visit Earls Colne (July 5), AFC Sudbury (July 12), St Neots (July 19), Holland FC (July 23), Debenham LC (July 26) and Harwich and Parkeston (July 30).
