Lakenheath 200-9 lost to Haverhill 214-7 by 14 runs

An unbeaten century by Adam Dellar and five wickets from skipper Joe Woodley helped Haverhill recover from a shaky start to beat Lakenheath and move to within four point of the top two.

At one stage Haverhill were 40-4 but they recovered thanks in the main to Dellar’s 109 not out (his first Two Counties but also thanks to Rob Dovaston (21) and Dan Pass, who scored an unbeaten 33. Adam Horrex took 5-52 for Lakenheath.

Lakenheath’s run chase was led by Shane Leech, who top scored with 67 and Liam Flack, who hit an unbeaten 54, but they ultimately fell short as Woodley (5-38) and Pass (2-51) took the bulk of the wickets to keep them at bay.
