Dillon is a black belt after grading success




Haverhill Wado Freestyle Karate Club (HWFK) celebrated achieving a 100 per cent pass rate at their latest gradings, with Dillon Collier graduating to his 1st Dan black belt.

Head coach Greg Malyon was delighted with his young cadets.

“We have such a diverse range of ages at HWFK, from four to 56 years of age,” he said. “On the day all of those who graded showed a real determination and passion to succeed. The young cadets have a promising future ahead of them and can look forward to following in the footsteps of Dillon.”

The following belts were achieved: Red: Bradley Austin; Yellow: Dilbar Rai, Simran Rai, Jessica Leigh-Bilton, Lauren Dunford; Orange: Felicity Johnson, Jed Pitcher, Lois Bramwell; Green: Ty Ayres, Casey Hill, Poppy Moore, Monty Johnson; Blue: Leo Nash; Purple/White: Sarah Murkin, Georgia Murkin, Caroline Haines, Ellie Austin; Brown: Emma Stephens, Helen Collier, Lynsey Collier; Black 1st Dan: Dillon Collier.
