SECOND ROUND

Mildenhall Town 1 Haverhill Rovers 2

Haverhill came from one goal down to defeat their hosts and gain revenge for their FA Cup defeat to them earlier in the season.

Mildenhall went in front after 11 minutes when Dan Brown cut in from the right and fired a left foot shot that goalkeeper Alex Archer got a hand to but could not keep out.

Haverhill equalised from a corner in the 64th minute when centre-half and skipper Martyn Farrant headed the ball into the ground and in for his second goal in two games.

The winning goal arrived after 76 minutes when Ty Alleyne brought down a free kick by Luke Haines and after his shot was blocked Nick Wilderspin put the rebound into the bottom corner of the net.

The draw for the quarter-final is due to take place later this week, with the ties scheduled for November 24/25.
