Haverhill schoolboy Oli Moss had a day to remember when he was Ipswich Town’s mascot for their 3-1 victory at Millwall on Saturday.

The seven-year-old Clements Primary School pupil was chosen at random by the club — where he is a member of the Junior Blues - to be the mascot for the Championship match.

He got to meet the players, go inside the dressing room and walk out on to the pitch and stand in the pre-match line up with Town skipper Luke Chambers, who is also Oli’s favourite player.

Oli’s dad, Richard Moss, said: “He had a great day and he had a good result as well.”

Oli plays in goal for West Wratting Under-8s and trains at Cambridge United’s development centre in Linton.
