Rovers put up some spirited resistance against the runaway league leaders only to conceded three goals in a ten minute spell midway through the second half.

The visitors held out until the 65th minute when Paul cook put the hosts - who are now 13 points clear of Godmanchester Rovers at the top of the table - 1-0 up.

The league’s top scorer, Mat Blake, then added two further goals within ten minutes to give Norwich the win.

Rovers have now gone ten league games without victory since defeating Mildenhall Town 2-1 on November 22.
